They are obviously very popular. Personally I like to use low cost solutions for my PC. Those applications can be pricey when you have to renew every year. Also I have found these products adversely affect the performance of many PCfs.

Spent hours uninstalling drivers and reinstaling just to get my sound back in Media Player and Quicktime. Support is horrible Logitech does not know the cause yet wants you to pay for a long distance call to try to fix their problem. Realtek audio came with my new computer and is NT compatable with this camera. Two days later of questions and answers on the Logitech website only to find out that they don’t know the problem. verall Evaluation: Do not buy this if you are running Vista and Realtek audio unless you want to spend hours monkeying around with drivers uninstalls numerous restarts registry editing and reinstalls. You are in for major headaches if using Vista with this product… Weaknesses:Needs LTS of light. verall Evaluation: Great camera overall if you can provide good room lighting levels. If you have low light & the white balance is set to automatic (default) your frame rate will be slow and your PC will slow to a crawl.
