Mimos chief executive Datuk Abdul Wahab Abdullah said the tablet PC was specially designed for innovative and mobile learning including for the purpose of teaching and learning in school. “Not only we are able to reduce price this tool (Tablet PC) can help train the community on how to use the computer in a much more friendly way” he said in his speech during the opening ceremony of “Cyber Development Corps Meeting and Workshop entitled “Earth ITernity” here Saturday. But there are also stand-alone programs allowing PCs to be controlled from any browser. This latter category includes VNC (Virtual Network Computing Protocol) and the variants based upon on it.
