PC World – May 24, 2008
Weaknesses: Characters on keys hard to see unless well lit from above this makes use of dual function keys equally difficult. Sound from internal speakers not what expected. verall Evaluation: As a Compaq HP Apple and Epson factory trained computer tech since the 1980’s I know how computers are supposed to work. I have a house full of computers my wife and 2 kids (7 & 4) are computer literate. So when my 1997 laptop just couldn’t keep up I started looking for a new one. I looked at some ads read some reviews and set myself a budget of $500-600. The Compaq F755US always came out a winner when compared to other brands in same price range with similar features… Again and again the Compaq F755US with the 15. 4″ Widescreen and the glass like screen appearance (if you haven’t seen it upclose take a look) was the clear choice. The sound from the internal speakers is adequate but external speakers (not included) sound great.
